Abstract
In the context of rapid economic and technological progress, the civil and architectural engineering industry confronts new challenges and opportunities. To adapt to the needs of the new era, cultivating interdisciplinary and competent talents has become a major goal of educational reform in this field. Based on an analysis of talent demands in civil and architectural engineering, this paper explores how to nurture highly interdisciplinary talents through Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE), and summarizes the core experience in the construction and reform of CAE courses in the new era.
